TERMS OF SERVICE J&E PC Connect | Effective Date: September 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the J&E PC Connect online store and the purchase of products from us. By accessing our store or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use our store.

J&E PC Connect operates as an online retailer of computer components and related products, based in South Africa.

2. Eligibility

By using our store, you confirm that you are:

  • At least 18 years of age, or accessing the store under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian
  • Legally capable of entering into a binding contract under South African law
  • Not prohibited from purchasing our products under any applicable law or regulation

3. Products and Availability

  • All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue any product at any time without notice.
  • Product images are for illustrative purposes. Actual products may vary slightly in appearance from images shown.
  • We make every effort to ensure product descriptions and specifications are accurate. In the event of an error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

4. Pricing and Payment

For Bank Deposit orders, we’ll email an invoice and payment instructions after the order is placed. The order remains unpaid until we receive and confirm payment. Please use the payment reference provided in the invoice.

5. Order Confirmation

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed only upon our written confirmation of your order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where a product is out of stock, where pricing errors have occurred, or where we suspect fraudulent activity. In the event of cancellation by us, a full refund will be issued within 5–10 business days.

6. Shipping and Delivery

  • We deliver to addresses within South Africa. International shipping is not currently offered.
  • Delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by courier services or circumstances beyond our control.
  • Locally stocked products are typically delivered within 7–12 business days from order confirmation.
  • Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon delivery to the specified address.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our store, including product descriptions, images, logos, and branding, is the property of J&E PC Connect or its respective suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from our store without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • J&E PC Connect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our store or products purchased from us.
  • Our total liability to you in respect of any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the product giving rise to the claim.
  • We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to follow product installation instructions or manufacturer guidelines.

9. Consumer Protection

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) or any other applicable South African consumer protection legislation.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our store shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

12. Amendments
